In acknowledgement of the importance of the International Women’s Day, IFFAMPAC requests that each of us take a minute from our day to reflect with respect and appreciation upon the advancements made towards women’s economic, political and social empowerment by women globally. Those achievements have earned a day of remembrance which serves to remind and inspire all of us to keep working towards global human rights for everyone.
Let’s especially keep in mind the grassroots efforts of the women family members of missing persons from armed conflicts and the additional burdens they face to obtain social justice and learn the fate of their missing loved ones. The answers are out there.
