IFFAMPAC is pleased to announce that on May 2-7, 2010, its Africa Representative had successful meetings in Ethiopia with Directors, Heads of Divisions, and Officers of the African Union. An additional meeting was held with a leading official from the Liberian Government Embassy in Ethiopia. The meetings discussed IFFAMPAC’s work with the families of missing persons from armed conflicts. The social, economic, and legal needs of the families as well as their human rights concerns were the topics of the meetings.
